Leslee Gibbs Expressive Art Therapist

"You Matter" is my heartfelt mantra.

I passionately believe we all need and deserve to be truly Seen and Heard, that we all have the capacity and desire for expansion, and that with focus and effort we can indeed discover, heal, reclaim, and celebrate MORE of who we are.

I believe personal change is the most difficult work we will do in our life and also the most worthy and rewarding.

In a safe and nurturing environment I will invite and encourage you to be willing and curious, to be open to the intuitive, non-verbal wisdom of your body, and to be gentle and loving with yourself. I will offer you guidance and support, and respect and celebrate Your efforts. Tears and Laughter will be our travelling companions.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is a partnership of equality built on mutual respect, trust and sensitivity. I invite you to contact me to see if we might be a good fit.

"Leslee opened her bag of magical materials and the children's curiosity got the better of them. They were hooked! Leslee created a safe and welcoming space, which provided a cozy haven for our emotionally fragile students. She was intuitive, sensitive and encouraging with students; they enjoyed authentic conversation and play together. Although I did not participate in the sessions, I witnessed a gentle unfolding and burgeoning of their inner selves: a skip in a step, a big smile and happy countenance, and often, a query to make sure that Leslee was indeed coming this week."
